Biography

Escanto is an exciting young stallion by Escamillo and out of Fairytale PS, the dam of Fair Deal and full sister to Fürst Toto. During his stallion performance test, the judges commented that he is “already impressively detached and yet reacting very attentively to the rider’s aids. A stallion with incredible dynamics, balance and a beautiful cadence in his movement…in the trot work, a very modern forehand action and active hindquarters at all times. An energetic canter, with a constant uphill tendency, a good cadence and extension of the frame during the lengthening of stride. The walk always has a lot of swing through the body with good stride and overtrack. A horse with huge potential.” His sire Escamillo, silver and bronze medallist at the World Championships for six and seven-year-olds in 2021 and 2022, has already produced 30 licensed stallions, including the Hanoverian Premium Stallion and 700,000 Euro Stallion Market top price Energy, the Westphalian Reserve Champion Stallions Escaneno, Espléndido MT and Excalibur as well as Schockemöhle’s up and coming youngsters Expectation PS and Escamour. His dam, Fairytale PS, is from the famous Finnländerin line, which has produced around 50 licensed stallions, including Blue Hors Don Schufro, Birkhof’s Topas FBW, Lord Leopold, Just Wimphof.
