Known in jumping circles as Olympic Concorde, Zig Zag’s sire needs little introduction while his dam, Namira de Haar is equally impressive. A daughter of the great Ramiro Z, Namira de Haar achieved her Keur Predicate from the KWPN by performing an IBOP (ridden) test which includes dressage and showjumping.

It is worth noting that Concorde is by the dominant breeding stallion Voltaire, who through the performance of his progeny stands high in both dressage and jumping indexes.Zig Zag’s offspring share his superb outlook, movement and conformation.

 His influential bloodlines and outstanding pedigree make him an ideal choice of sire for producing modern-day athletic sport horses for dressage, showjumping or eventing.

 As a measure of his correct conformation, movement, temperament and performance, Zig Zag is Life Approved with Sports Horse Breeding (SHB) of Great Britain, licensed with the Anglo European Studbook (AES) and graded with British Showjumping (BS).

His pedigree:

Father, “the black tyrant” Ferro is a proven stallion. He was for years the fixed power of the Dutch A team dressage. Negro’s mother comes from a top parent line, through the international stallions “Variant” and “Gondolier” (label) and the predicate rich mares’ Fewrie (preferent IBOP AA 92) Mewrie (keur pref prestatie sports) and Geerie (ster pref prestatie) stands for sport, model, strength, spirit and quality.

His achievements:

Negro is a winner of both the stallion competition in 2000 and 2001, he won the title “Young Star Stallion” (Zwolle 2001). During the 2001 World Championships in Verden Negro was the best 6-year-old KWPN.

Negro has successfully completed his small tour period. Of his four starts, he won three times. His first start in the Big Tour, he won convincingly by the score of 72.50% super debut, using his unparalleled talent for piaffe and passage showed.

Negro is high on the latest dressage index, with 150 (92%) which has satisfied the requirement for him to be awarded the KWPN’s highest honour for a stallion of “preferent”. His children are doing extremely well in the sport.

They are internationally in high demand. Negro’s offspring are widely appreciated for the great cooperative nature, inquisitiveness, hard work, and of course the trade balance of Negro No. 1: the great hind leg use, and great potential for change.

Negro’s children make a stir everywhere, with champions, approved stallions and daughters talked out in the USA, UK, Scandinavia etc..

Despite his still young age, his children are competing and winning at the highest level, including the most famous son Valegro – who was 2011 European Team Gold Medal Winner and the Grand Prix special World record holder.

Grand Prix trained black CALIFICADO (Superior breeding status) stallion, the only one in the UK.  He is capable of producing either black or chestnut offspring (Ee aa) and with an already impressive competitive career behind him, having competed successfully up to INTER I level in his native Spain, and now also in the UK.

HABANERO combines the lines of the Yeguada Militar (Spanish State Stud) including the proven movement stallions JENSON and CESAR, with the outstanding traditional bloodlines of one of the oldest Spanish breeders, ARPA (Yeguada Militar and Terry origins). He is one of less than 30 black Calificado stallions in the world and offers the very rare combination of a traditional stamp of PRE, together with superb movement for competition dressage.  He has already sired over 140 foals worldwide, some of which are competing in dressage in the USA and his native Spain whilst others are National Champions in the show ring.  One of his daughters is National Champion mare of Australia.

In 2010 at the UK National Breed Championships, in his first UK outing, HABANERO achieved 1st in every class he entered, including 7 yrs plus stallions class, joint highest Movement, Reserve National Champion Stallion and Overall UK National Functionality Champion (combined Morphology, Movement and ridden sections). In the 2011 SICAB Qualifier Show, first of it’s kind in the UK, he swept the board AGAIN, winning the 7yrs plus stallions class, Reserve Champion Stallion and Overall Functionality Championship.

He has more than proved his Superior status in the show ring and is now concentrating on forging a successful dressage career. His movement, type and outstanding temperament make him a stallion suitable for any mare – he is a true horse of a lifetime.

HABANERO has been in full time training with Andrew Gould since early 2011 and is winning at Premier League level.  He qualified for the BD Regional Championships at Prix St George and PSG Freestyle levels, gaining his Personal Best in the Regionals of 72.92% and securing a place at the BD National Championships with his performance.  His first INTER I in spring 2012 was a fantastic performance securing 5th place overall (PSG-GP class) and winning his INTER I section. Lots more to come from this incredibly talented horse and rider combination.

HABANERO made history by scoring almost 70% (69.96%) at the 2012 UK British Dressage National Winter Championships gaining a 7th place in the very strong Championship class.  This is the highest score ever achieved by a PRE at National level in the UK.

A true to type Irish Draught stallion. He has superb bloodlines, including King of Diamonds and Pride of Shaunlara. Tullys Court has a superb temperament, stunning looks and conformation. This Stallion combines all the attributes to produce stock of the highest calibre in all spheres. His youngstock are all of outstanding quality, fantastic moving and have lovely temperaments.
