Biography
An athletic, eye catching stallion that turns heads wherever he goes, AMOUR G has wowed show judges, BEF evaluators, studbook graders and BD judges time and time again. He is the only horse to date to be awarded TWO Elite First Premiums by the BEF Futurity scheme for dressage and show jumping. With no marks less than 9 out of 10, he scored 9.5 for his conformation, 9.75 for his paces and 9.75 in the vetting. Oozing presence and quality coupled with a laid back temperament and excellent fertility, Amour G must warrant serious consideration when seeking the ideal partner for your mare. The qualities he generally passes on are his stunning, loose paces, his impressive shoulder and length of rein. To TB and lightweight mares he adds bone without compromising quality, whilst he will also improve the heavier weight and cob mares, adding elevated, more uphill paces. AMOUR G was in the top 10 British based sires with 3 or more progeny competing at the both the 2018 and 2019 BD Winter Championships/AF Championships just behind the likes of DiMaggio and Showmaker.

At 3yrs old he was awarded ELITE BEF Premiums in BOTH dressage and showjumping sections, scoring 9.75 for paces. He was Champion of his grading with the WBS-UK He has an impressive BD record, winning the majority of his tests with scores to 78.8% at Novice to Advanced levels. He finished in the top 10 at the British Dressage National Championships. Judges’ comments include “Stunning, expressive horse”, Super talented” and “Impressive!” Truly versatile, he has showjumped successfully to Newcomers level and schooled cross country proving bold yet sensible.
