Biography

Radiant premium and final ring stallion at the Westphalian Licensing 2021, Be My Dancer stands out for his modern type, correct conformation, and an exceptional body framework, paired with three high-quality basic gaits that truly match his name. He completed his 50-day performance test with an outstanding overall score of 8.76, including 8.5 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 9.0 for walk, and 9.0 for rideability. In 2025, Be My Dancer earned bronze and was crowned Westphalian Champion in the 6-year-old dressage horse class. In recognition of his exceptional sport results, he was awarded the NRW suffix. Sired by Benicio, National Champion and Grand Prix winner, this pedigree features one of Europe’s most in-demand stallions of his generation. Benicio has produced standout sons including Bonds (champion stallion), Ben Benicio (advanced level winner; Neustadt/Dosse State Stud), and Baron. On the dam line, St. Pr. St. When I Dance was successful in riding horse classes, completed her SLP, and is a proven show winner. She also produced another licensed stallion in 2019: For Love (by For Romance I), who was notably named 2nd Reserve Champion at Münster-Handorf. The dam’s sire Vivaldi, internationally successful under Hans Peter Minderhoud (NED), is renowned as a leading dressage sire with an impressive record of top-performing offspring. The granddam First Dance has produced multiple successful sport horses and is a full sister to the licensed stallion Freidenker (BEL). His pedigree is packed with proven NRW bloodlines. Ferragamo and the performance test winner Der Clou were influential sires in NRW breeding from an early stage, stood for many years at the Warendorf State Stud, and became known for producing versatile talent capable of succeeding at the highest level. The highly regarded proven sire Frühlingsrausch adds further depth and quality to this exceptional lineage. From the renowned Westphalian dam line 469 / Nizza (by Niederwald – Alltag II – Aldo – Herkules), this family is widely established and has produced 23 licensed stallions, including For Furioso (Oldenburg), Friedenstraum (licensed and HLP winner), Friedensrat (Westphalian), Wavavoom (GBR), Feuerblick, Fortissimo, and Palast und Partner (all Warendorf State Stud). The line has also produced internationally successful dressage horses such as Fortino (Stall Klimke) and Pommery (Heinrich Kemna).
