Biography

Bernie is a very conspicuous young stallion - the darling of the stable! Bernie is a real stallion model, expressive head, nice well-set neck, strong topline with suitable length for a dressage horse. He is well off with super good hooves. Bernie is correct and very well in stride, trot and canter. Bernie has a very special good temperament and is easily handled and educated. He always offers himself and is easy and self-motivated. Bernay, who is the father of Bernie, has won the international big tour with Simone Pierce by over 70%. Berney is sired by the super mare Lady Leatherdale, who is a full sister to Van Olst's top stallion Lord Leatherdale. Bernay had a great breakthrough in breeding despite a small number of mares and is the father of several top foals and approved stallions. The stallion unfortunately died at the age of 9.The dam strain of Bernie is strongly drawn on one state prize mares and a sister to the stallion participated in 2017 in Herwart von der Decken Schau in 2017. Out of this mare strain, stallions were chosen Villagana and Welf. Piston stallions such as Jazz, Vivaldi and Londonderry are in the first 4 links in Bernie's lineage.
