Biography

Born in 2021, Bondolo is a striking grey Oldenburg stallion bred by Sandra Neff and standing at Hof Sosath in Germany. By the influential sire Bonds and out of a mare by legendary dressage stallion Totilas, Bondolo blends two of the most powerful modern dressage bloodlines. Licensed in 2023, the young stallion immediately impressed judges with his charismatic presence, excellent type and elastic movement, particularly his ground-covering walk and expressive hind leg. Under rider Madita Rentz, Bondolo quickly proved his talent in the competition arena, winning young horse classes and consistently scoring highly for conformation and rideability. By 2025 he had multiple victories in young horse and dressage tests and placed third in the Oldenburg Dressage Horse Championship at the Rastede State Show. His early sporting success, combined with an impressive first crop of foals noted for their modern type and expressive movement, earned him the 1c Oldenburg Main Premium, marking him as an exciting stallion for the future of dressage breeding.

Notable Progeny

Due to his own achievements and his outstanding first crop of foals, Bondolo was awarded the 1c main premium of the Oldenburg Verband! Bondolo's first offspring have beautiful faces and modern type, coupled with exceptional Quality of movement. Young stallion Bondolo presented his first foal crop at the foal show. The commission was positively impressed by the typey foals with beautiful faces and lots of expression. In addition, the foals presented had a strikingly good saddle position with a swinging, shoulder-free movement. The ground-covering, very good walk was particularly impressive.
