Biography

Casallco began his career as OS reserve winner, Ib main premium winner, stallion performance test successful candidate (three times the dream score of 10) and German Championship qualifier. With Casall, Contender, Carthago and Calypso II, Casallco combines the absolute best of the Holstein breed in his pedigree. Furthermore, the line ounder Cor de la Bryère appears four times in his pedigree. With prize money of around 4.2 million euros, his sire Casall was one of the highest earners. Ridden by Rolf-Göran Bengtsson/SWE, the son of the great Caretino won the Global Champions Tour overall ranking, the Leipzig World Cup final and the European Championship team bronze medal. He often competed at high level against his no less successful offspring, who placed him in the top ten of the world's best show jumping sires, according to WBFSH, for the first time in 2015. Amongst his over 80 licensed stallions are the two Holstein Champion Stallions Cadilo and Casaltino as well as the Reserve Champions Catch it and Cascadello I, with the latter auctioned for a record price of 600,000 euros. His dam Zelda IV is the full sister of the internationally placed Chocoprince and half sister of the 1.50m show jumping horse Chasseur Ask Z (by Casall). His dam’s sire Contender produced numerous internationally successful show jumpers. In Germany alone, they have won over eleven million euros in prize money.

Notable Progeny

Casallco’s daughter Chyazint, one of the best young show jumping horses in the world, was sold in 2022 for the incredible amount of four million euros at the P.S.I. Auction. But it is not only at auctions that Casallco’s offspring make the headlines. They are omnipresent on show jumping events all across the world. Casalu-Blue PS/Luke Barham/GBR, Casanyo PS/Adrienne Sternlicht/USA, Cash Blue PS/Nisse Lüneburg, Cayetana/Bertram Allen/IRL and Caquarista PS/Aidan Killeen/IRL were placed in international competitions. And then there is also Casa Lady Love PS/Lennard Runge (6y.o.), Oldenburg Champion and Vice Show Jumping Champion of Dobrock, Cosima/Harm Wiebusch (6y.o.), Hanoverian Vice Show Jumping Champion and winner of the Paderborn CSI youngster show jumping competition, Casallbertin PS/Patrick Stühlmeyer, placed seventh at the German Championships and sold at the P.S.I. Auction, Cajulio, Vice Show Jumping Champion of Dobrock, and Conny Blue PS who was placed third.
