Biography
Born in 2007, Cassini Gold is a grey Holsteiner stallion by the legendary Cassini I out of the Contender mare Naomi XXXII. Bred by E. Gottschalk, he carries one of the most influential jumping pedigrees in modern sport horse breeding, combining the Capitol I line with the powerful Contender and Ahorn Z damline. Approved by several major studbooks including Holstein, KWPN and Oldenburg, Cassini Gold stands with Team Nijhof and represents a classic Holstein performance lineage known for scope, reflexes and technique. As a sport horse, Cassini Gold developed into an international Grand Prix competitor under Mexican rider Julio David Vainer, competing successfully up to 1.60m level and achieving placings in CSI competitions. While his own sport career provided a solid foundation, his influence has grown significantly through breeding, producing numerous international jumpers competing between 1.40m and 1.65m level, highlighting his reliability as a sire of performance horses.
