Biography
Chacfly PS is a modern show jumping stallion distinguished by elite performance, exceptional rideability, and a world-class pedigree. Ridden internationally by Eiken Sato (JPN), he earned placings up to 1.45m level at venues including Opglabbeek (BEL), Kronenberg (NED), Riesenbeck (GER), Ommen (NED), and Lier (BEL). His athletic aptitude was evident early. In 2016, Chacfly PS completed his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf with a record score of 9.49, receiving the maximum mark of 10 in six individual criteria (including scope, style, and overall impression) and 9.5 for rideability. That same year, he was awarded the prestigious Stakkato Prize in Verden. As a four-year-old, he claimed the bronze medal at the Hanoverian Championships in Verden. Under Patrick Stühlmeyer, Chacfly PS recorded twelve victories during the 2018 season in young horse classes and won the qualifier for the German Championships in Klein Roscharden with a score of 8.8 before successfully progressing to higher levels. Pedigree and Bloodline Chacfly PS is a son of the legendary Chacco-Blue, one of the most influential sires in modern show jumping. Chacco-Blue placed third in the Grand Prix of Aachen and won the Grand Prix of Neumünster. Since 2015, he ranked among the top ten sires worldwide and, from 2017 onward, led the WBFSH sire rankings. His progeny include Olympic Champion Explosion W (ridden by Ben Maher), Olympic finalist Chanyon (Daisuke Fukushima), European Team Champion Chaqui Z (Shane Sweetnam), and Nations Cup Final runner-up Chacon (Eoin McMahon). At the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon, eight offspring of Chacco-Blue competed, and approximately 55 of his sons have been licensed. Chacfly PS’s dam, Shentara, is a half-sister to the licensed and internationally successful Quickcento (by Quicksilber) and Nintara (by Nintender), who placed in Grand Prix competition. The dam’s sire, Sir Shutterfly, is the full brother of the legendary Shutterfly, ridden by Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. In the third generation appears Otto Becker’s mount Dobel's Cento, Olympic team gold medallist in Sydney and team bronze medallist in Athens, as well as World Cup Champion in Leipzig. Chacfly PS represents the renowned Holstein lineage 5819, which has produced numerous influential stallions and international sport horses.
