Chicago Blue VDL is a modern KWPN showjumping stallion born in 2020 with one of the most powerful pedigrees in international sport horse breeding. He is by the world-renowned sire Chacco-Blue, long ranked among the leading showjumping sires worldwide, and out of the exceptional mare Cella, a multiple Grand Prix winner and individual silver medallist at the 2013 European Championships with Ben Maher. Chicago Blue VDL also carries one of the most influential damlines in modern showjumping: his granddam is Usha van't Roosakker, the foundation mare of the world-famous Roosakker family that has produced numerous 1.60 m jumpers and approved stallions.
