Biography

Ciamant is a striking grey stallion distinguished by scope, power, and athletic presence. He descends from the dam line of the influential sire Quidam de Revel, one of the most important foundation stallions in modern show jumping breeding. His sire is Catoki, a Holsteiner stallion by Cambridge and a great-grandson of the legendary Cor de la Bryere. Catoki was 2001 HLP show jumping champion in Radegast, a serial winner in young horse classes, 2003 Vice Bundeschampion of five-year-olds, and fourth in the 2004 Warendorf final for six-year-olds. Under Philipp Weishaupt, Catoki achieved major international success, including victories and placings in World Cup Finals in Geneva and Leipzig, as well as Nations Cups and Grand Prix events in Vigo, Bordeaux, Doha, La Baule, Aachen, Hickstead, Calgary, Helsinki, and Valkenswaard. From 2013 onward, he continued competing successfully with Danish rider Emil Hallundbaek. Ciamant’s dam is Erenice Horta, a World Cup Finalist in 2013 under Edwina Tops-Alexander. The dam line is further reinforced by the elite sire Diamant de Semilly, who won team gold at the 2002 World Equestrian Games and team silver at the 2003 European Championships. Diamant de Semilly ranked among the top three sires worldwide for nearly a decade and led the WBFSH sire rankings in 2017 and 2022. Ciamant represents a performance-proven pedigree combining elite sport genetics, international championship success, and one of Europe’s most established show jumping mare families.
