Biography
Born in 2006, Colestus is a grey Hanoverian showjumping stallion by the legendary Cornet Obolensky out of the Stakkato mare Spice Girl R. Bred by Hartwig Rellensmann, he carries one of the most powerful jumping pedigrees in modern breeding, combining the Corrado I, Heartbreaker and Pilot lines. Standing 1.70m, Colestus quickly gained attention for his extraordinary reflexes, careful technique and explosive scope. Trained at the stable of Ludger Beerbaum, Colestus progressed rapidly to international Grand Prix level. Under riders including Marco Kutscher, Ludger Beerbaum and later Christian Kukuk, he competed successfully in CSI5* competitions and consistently placed at the highest level of the sport. Alongside his sport career, he has become an influential sire, producing top-level performers such as Greya, Classic Dream and Jiminy Cricket, proving his ability to pass on both athleticism and intelligence to his offspring.
