Biography
Born in 2018, Comanchero is a striking Oldenburg-International (OS) showjumping stallion by Comme Prévu and out of the elite state premium mare Lady Heida II by Landor S. This pedigree blends the influential bloodlines of Comme il Faut, Cornet Obolensky, Landor S, Contender and Furioso II, creating a modern stallion with exceptional scope, rideability and athleticism. He was bred by Gerd Sosath and licensed at the Oldenburg Stallion Days in 2021, immediately attracting attention for his powerful canter, modern type and outstanding jumping ability. Comanchero quickly proved himself in sport and breeding. He passed his stallion performance test with an impressive 8.44 score, earned placings in young jumper classes with marks up to 8.7, and qualified for the Bundeschampionat for both five- and six-year-old show jumpers under Hendrik Sosath. In 2025 he was crowned Main Premium Stallion of the Oldenburg-International Jumping Horse Breeding Association, recognising both his sport results and the exceptional quality of his first foals.

Comanchero's foals impress with above-average type, appealing faces, and relaxed, supple gaits. The offspring tend to emphasize the upper neck and move with powerful canters featuring active hindquarters.
