Biography

Turning 3 in 2023, Pinot is a young silver bay graded sports stallion at the very start of his career. Showing great promise loose over jumps, he offers that rare combination of athleticism and scope with the outstanding qualities of the Rocky/ Kentucky Mountain Horse. Renowned as the Golden Retriever of all breeds, he is like a large puppy, genuinely thriving from human interaction and readily accepting his training and acceptable boundaries quickly and quietly. His status as a Goodtimes grandson is enough in itself, but the combination of his talent with his dam's breeding brings something wholly unique to the amateur sports horse breeding programme. Incorporating Pinot blood into your breeding brings a bucket of good sense, people centric bloodlines whilst not sacrificing the scope needed for those wanting to have a grand day out. If that were not enough, Pinot will always throw a silver black or silver bay foal to any solid coloured non grey dam, guaranteeing that his distinctive good looks pass on to to his babies. Throw in any other dilution and the silver will add a new dimension to more typical colour possibilities.

Notable Progeny

Pinot has his first four foals due in 2023. His first filly is due at the end of March from a dressage bred mare. Her pictures (and those of subsequent foals) will be posted on www.cornmillstud.com for anyone wishing to see the quality of his stock.
