Biography
With Maurice Tebbel, Dia Corrado achieved placings in international 3* competitions. Now Ryan Sweetnam has taken over the reins and, in this short time, has already completed strong rounds up to 1.45m jumping! Dia Corrado's sons, now represented at all stallion licensing events, impress with their own performance and are usually found in the premium rings. Several of his daughters, registered as broodmares, have received the coveted state premium. Dia Corrado passes on his willingness to perform, as seen in Dia Cold, who completed his 50-day test with excellent marks, particularly for his scope and willingness to perform. His nearly 100 offspring, already successfully competing at the M** level, will reach the S level this year. Reserve champion at the 50-day test in Adelheidsdorf with top marks of 9.0, including for his scope and overall impression. His rideability was also rated 9.0 by the commission and the guest rider. He received the highest mark of 9.5 for his willingness to perform. Champion stallion of the 14-day test in Adelheidsdorf. His jumping ability in free jumping was awarded a 10.0. He received a 9.0 each for character and willingness to perform. These factors contributed to his jumping-focused final score of 9.43. He completed the FN sport test with an 8.65 and received a 9.0 for his style. His sire, Don Diarado, was highly successful at the 5* level, becoming German Vice Champion in 2020. A definite highlight of 2021 was his powerful jumping performance at the Tokyo Olympics. He also won the Grand Prix in Hagen and the Nations Cup in Sopot, achieving numerous other top-five finishes at the 5* level. St. Pr. St. Corrada, dam of Special Effect, has produced another promising stallion, Dia Corrado. Dia Corrado himself has achieved multiple high placings in S-level show jumping competitions under Lars Grafmüller, the breeder of this young stallion, and comes from the renowned Holsteiner dam line 173. His granddam, St.Pr.St. Corinna, produced the successful Quibell by Quintero, who competed successfully in S****-level show jumping with Henrik Eckermann of Sweden. K-Corinna's great-granddam is Lancaster by Latus II, who competed successfully in S*-level show jumping under Roland Engelbrecht. From the dam line: Successful show jumping horses in the S class: A-Dur R by Argentinus S**** under Tina Lund/Denmark, Ayla by Alexis S** under Arnaldo Bologni, Cirak by Cadillac S** under Radu Ilioi, Catani by Corrado I under Klaus-Dieter Türke, Romanus by Ramzes AA under Hans Günter Winkler, Philosophie 2 by Pacco II, Calico Joe 2 by Cornado, Camillo 151 by Cornet Obolensky, Lamabada by Lanero NRW, Quibell 5 by Quintero, Chando by Con Air, Countess by Contender, and many more.
