Biography

Diamant van Klapscheut is an extremely sporty stallion. Equipped with exceptional reflexes at the jump and a rideability of superlatives. He inspires with a sensational front leg, outstanding manner and enormous caution at the jump. He was able to win show jumping tests for young horses in the A-M class in a row. On the occasion of the World Championships for 5-year-old show jumpers in Lanaken, he qualified for the final with two outstanding clear rounds. As a 6-year-old, he was also able to achieve international success in the Youngster Tour. Last year, at the age of 7, he was able to continue successfully in the advanced class, he collected placings in the Youngster Tour at the CSI4* tournament at Hof Waterkant, at the CSI2* tournament in Lastrup Klain Roscharden or at the CSI2* in Kronenberg. These characteristics are firmly anchored in his maternal line, which could not be better: Dam Koriana van Klapscheut (by Cicero van Pamel) was herself internationally successful as a young horse up to 1.40 show jumping under Arnaud Gaublomme. Her first offspring are already causing a sensation, Orlando van Klapscheut was able to collect placings in 1.50 m jumping under Jelmer Hoekstra, as well as Carlo van Klapscheut, who is one year younger, he also impresses at 1.50 level under Thibeau Spits. The granddam Coriana van Klapscheut by Darco, a phenomenon: she jumped herself with Eric La-maze and Pilar Cordon to victories and placings at 1.60 level at 5* tournaments in Spruce Meadows, Verona, Lummen, Aachen, Wellington, Gijon and many more. She produced the 2017 World Champion of 7-year-old show jumpers, Koriano van Klapscheut by Lord Z, who is now successful in 1.60 show jumping, as well as other offspring successful at 1.60 level. Great-granddam Uriana van Klapscheut by Heartbreaker also jumped internationally to 1.50 level and, as the founder of the line, produced numerous offspring and grandchildren who are successful at 1.60 level. Father Diamant de Semilly himself ran successfully at the highest international level under Eric Levallois for many years. He currently occupies second place in the WBFSH ranking of the most successful show jumping horse stallions. Dam's sire Cicero van Pamel is also highly interesting in terms of breeding: This Carthago son is also at the top of the WBFSH ranking and can look back on a successful sporting career under Dirk Demeersman at 1.60 level. MM sire, the legendary and well-known Darco is one of the world's best-known show jumping sires. Himself a participant in European, World Championships and Olympic Games, he leaves behind several offspring who dominate in top-class sport at 1.60 level. Diamant van Klapscheut, who was only 4 years old, produced his first licensed son this year at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden. His first offspring are very self-confident and courageous, athletic, elastic, clearly characterized by their father's outstanding reflexes when jumping.

Notable Progeny

As a relatively young stallion, Diamant van Klapscheut Z’s first offspring are only beginning to appear in sport and breeding programs.
