Different Color is a modern sport horse stallion whose rise has been marked by early promise, standout talent, and a pedigree rooted in elite performance. From the beginning of his career, he has embodied the qualities sought after in today’s show jumping horse: athleticism, intelligence, careful technique, and a naturally competitive mindset. Bred from exceptional bloodlines, Different Color combines the influence of his sire, Diablue PS—winner of the 2020 performance test in Adelheidsdorf with perfect scores for scope and willingness—with the legendary Balou du Rouet on the dam’s side, one of the most influential sires in international show jumping and eventing. This powerful genetic foundation is further strengthened by a maternal line rich in proven sport success across both jumping and dressage. As a young stallion, Different Color quickly distinguished himself in performance testing. At the 2025 short aptitude test in Vechta, he placed among the top five, earning high marks for his willingness to perform (8.6), jumping ability (8.5), canter (8.6), and ride-ability (8.2). These results confirmed what his natural way of going already suggested: a horse with both the physical tools and the mindset required for top-level sport. Under saddle and over fences, Different Color is defined by three key traits. He is fast—showing exceptional reflexes and efficiency both between and over jumps.
