Donkey Amour

Biography

Donkey Amour impressed both the licensing committee and expert audience at the DSP Stallion Days in Munich-Riem in 2025, where he was awarded premium stallion. Dressage inspector Jörg Schröter praised him as "a particularly sympathetic and incredibly beautiful horse" with a special aura, powerful elastic trot movement, and ground-covering walk with excellent rhythm. His sire Donkey Boy was named "Stallion of the Year" by the Danish Warmblood Horse Breeding Association in 2023, won medals at the World Championships for Young Horses, and made history by winning the Danish Young Horse Championships four consecutive years (2016-2019). Donkey Amour's dam Sonnenschein S competed successfully up to advanced (S) level, and his dam's sire San Amour has produced almost 50 licensed sons with over 40 offspring competing at Grand Prix level. The stallion is licensed for Oldenburg, Hanover, southern German associations, and almost all other breeding associations on demand.
