Biography

Born in 2022, Donkey Amour is a modern German Sport Horse dressage stallion bred by Sabine Reisenauer and standing at Hof Sosath in Germany. He is sired by the exceptional Hesselhøj Donkey Boy, the Danish Warmblood “Stallion of the Year” and multiple World Young Horse Championship medalist, while his dam Sonnenschein S is a successful dressage mare by San Amour I, one of the most influential producers of Grand Prix horses. This pedigree blends world-class movement, rideability and performance bloodlines. Donkey Amour made an immediate impression at the DSP Stallion Days in Munich-Riem, where he was awarded Premium Stallion thanks to his expressive trot, ground-covering walk and exceptional temperament. Judges praised his charisma, elasticity and overall presence, highlighting him as a highly promising young sire for modern dressage breeding.
