Biography

Millennium has established himself as one of the most influential dressage sires in modern sport horse breeding. Champion stallions, premium stallions and auction price leaders highlight his exceptional hereditary strength. His first major success as a sire came in 2014 when he produced two champion stallions at major German licensing events: Sir Sansibar at the Trakehner licensing in Neumünster and Morricone at the Oldenburg licensing in Vechta. His success continued in the following years. In 2015 he produced the first reserve champion Helium and the second reserve champion Halleluja at the Trakehner licensing. In 2016 his son His Moment became Champion Stallion at the Trakehner Stallion Market. In 2017 he again produced the Trakehner Champion Stallion, a Premium Stallion in Verden and the Westphalian Premium Stallion Maracaná, who became one of the most sought-after young stallions in Germany. Another Champion Stallion and the Premium Stallion Kenneth followed in 2022. Millennium has now produced more than 100 licensed sons, an achievement unmatched by any stallion at a similar age. Millennium’s influence is also evident in auctions and mare shows. In 2016 his son Konstantin became the most expensive foal ever sold in Neumünster, and he also produced the top-priced foal at the Nördlingen auction. His daughter Heavenly Brown was named Champion Mare of the Year for the entire Trakehner population in 2015, while Belle Fleur earned the same title in 2018 after placing second at the German Mare Championships. Another daughter, My Lady, was crowned State Champion Mare in Baden-Württemberg in 2016. Millennium has also produced several Brillantring mares in Rastede and show champions in Hanover. His offspring are now proving their ability in top-level sport. By 2022 the oldest progeny were ten years old and already competing successfully in the big arena. From his first crop, Mist of Titanium OLD, Matchball OLD and Morricone I have all achieved victories at Grand Prix level. Millennium himself was second reserve champion at the 2010 Trakehner main licensing in Neumünster. He also showed great promise in sport, winning several young horse classes in 2012 and finishing as reserve champion at the Trakehner Bundesturnier in Hanover. Now successful at advanced level, he has celebrated victories up to Intermédiaire II. In recognition of his outstanding achievements in breeding and sport, Millennium was named Trakehner Stallion of the Year in 2022.
