Biography

Born in 2004, Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN is a BWP-registered showjumping stallion by Clinton out of the Toulon mare Bijou Orai. Bred by Paul Merckx and later standing with Team Nijhof, the imposing 1.76m bay stallion combines the legendary Corrado I line with the Heartbreaker-influenced Toulon line. His pedigree is built entirely around proven 1.60m jumping genetics, making him one of the most sought-after modern sires in international sport horse breeding. Ridden in international competition by Willem Greve, Eldorado competed successfully up to 1.60m level and earned placings in Grand Prix and Nations Cup classes. While his own sport career was solid, his true legacy lies in breeding: more than twenty of his offspring have jumped at 1.60m level, collectively earning millions in prize money and establishing him among the most influential jumping stallions of his generation.
