Biography

Evermore is an exceptionally well-presented young stallion from Escanto PS OLD’s premium crop, instantly recognisable as a true product of his celebrated lineage. He’s a tall, substantial type with excellent proportions and a beautifully balanced, correct frame. His natural talent for the basic gaits is outstanding, with powerful impulsion, remarkable freedom through the shoulder, and—already evident at his Munich licensing in January 2026—an especially impressive canter that consistently caught the eye. A genuine highlight for our stud, with an exciting future in both breeding and sport. His sire, Escanto PS OLD, produced under the guidance of Brandi Roenick, has proven himself at the very highest level for young stallions—claiming the Bundeschampion title for four-year-old stallions, after previously becoming Oldenburg State Champion and twice topping his performance test (HLP) with record results against strong fields. At five, he made a winning debut at L-level dressage horse classes and went on to qualify for the Bundeschampionat. His first foal crops have more than lived up to expectations, featuring multiple show champions, standout auction horses, finalists at the German Foal Championship, and the champion foal of the 40th AWÖ Bundeschampionat. His daughter Elegance also made headlines as the top-priced foal at the Oldenburg “Special Edition” Auction, selling for €31,000—an achievement that contributed to Escanto PS being named Oldenburg Main Premium Champion in 2024. On the dam line, Vitalis stands among the world’s most influential dressage sires and currently leads the WBFSH rankings, thanks to an exceptional group of Grand Prix performers. These include Vayron (Daniel Bachmann Andersen), Olympic team silver and European team bronze medallist; Vamos Amigos (Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour), team world champion, double individual world silver medallist and World Cup runner-up; and Valesco (Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier), winner at Aachen and recipient of the Otto Lörke Prize. Vitalis also enjoyed a distinguished sport career himself—reserve champion at the NRW licensing (2009), winner of the dressage index at his performance test (2010), successful at the World Championships for Young Horses and in the Pavo Cup Final, a US champion, and later immediately victorious in the international Small Tour. Back in Germany, with Isabel Freese, he won the Burg-Pokal Final in Frankfurt and the “Stallion of the Year” competition at Inter I level at the World Championships in Ermelo. In 2025, he was awarded Elite Stallion status in Oldenburg. Further back in the pedigree appears Lemony’s Nicket, Bundeschampion of three-year-old stallions and a record-setting elite auction stallion, sold for €900,000. From the renowned Pape Stud in Hemmoor, the dam line continues through the Trakehner champion Herzensdieb and the former Celle State Stud stallion White Star, leading to the Hanoverian mare family of Nachbarin I. While originally rooted in proven Hanoverian jumping genetics, this line is prized for the strength, durability, and scope it brings—qualities that add significant value to modern dressage breeding. Numerous licensed stallions descend directly from this family, including Salto I and II, Stolzenberg, Newcomer, Domburg, and Daytona.
