Biography

Fiji convinces with his outstanding type, a lot of charm and nobility. He impresses with excellent basic gaits with plenty of shoulder freedom and an uphill sequence with a lot of strength from the back and hind legs. Fiji's dam Happy-Times ZB is a half-sister to the internationally successful Grand Prix horse Crocket Times by Sorento. Her sire Charmeur, a son of the German Champion Florencio I, is visually very much influenced by his dam's sire Jazz, was the winner of his stallion performance test in the Netherlands and won the Pavo Cup, the Dutch equivalent of the German German Championships, as a 3-year-old. Under Madeleine Witte-Vrees, Charmeur was highly successful up to Grand Prix racing. The highly proven sire Sir Sinclair, who is one of the best dressage horse sires in the Netherlands, Don Sarkozy, licensed in Oldenburg, and a considerable number of dressage horses who are successful up to the most difficult class in the direct line also descend from the proven Westphalian mare line of Nelly.
