Biography

Sire of international Grand Prix winner 2021 was another fantastic season for the offspring of Fürst Romancier. First Romance, Burg Cup winner and placed third in the Louisdor Prize, trained by Dorothee Schneider, celebrated his first victories in international Grand Prix arenas. Fashion Prinz OLD, one of over 30 licensed sons of Fürst Romancier, won gold at the Oldenburg Championships with Frederic Wandres, took the fourth place at the German Championships and was second top price at the P.S.I. Auction. Fünf Sterne Royal won the bronze medal at the Hanoverian Championships (4y.o.). Bond Girl secured the gold medal at the Bavarian Championships (3y.o.). At the Herwart von der Decken show, Flavienne was the Reserve Champion Mare. The three-time European Young Riders Vice Champion and immediately victorious in the U25 Tour, DSP First Class/Lia Welschof, the two-time Champion stallion For Romance I OLD/Therese Nilshagen/SWE, his full sister, the Oldenburg Champion Mare, German Champion and top price of the P.S.I. auction Fasine OLD/Rudolf Widmann and Fürst Fritz/Daniel Pinto/POR have also reached Grand Prix level. Flying Dancer OLD/Dorothee Schneider, auction top price, was very well placed at the World Championships for young dressage horses and is now preparing for Grand Prix with Stefan Lehfellner/AUT, after several victories in St. Georges. Flash Hit/Matthias Alexander Rath, Fleurance/Uta Gräf and team silver medallist of the Junior European Championships Fürst Levantino/Marlene Sieverding, amongst others, are victorious at Inter I level. Flintstone was Hanoverian Vice Champion and came sixth at the German Championships and Best of Mount St. John OLD was Vice Regional Champion and came fifth at the German Championships. Fürstin D'Amour was sold for 82,000 Euros at our Helgstrand/Schockemöhle Online Auction. Fürst Romancier was awarded the Oldenburg main premium. In 2009, he was fourth at the World Championships for young dressage horses and at the German Championships, becoming the most successful stallion of his generation. His sire Fürst Heinrich was Champion Stallion in 2001, winner of the main premium in 2002, World Champion of five-year-old dressage horses in 2003, and has produced over 50 licensed stallions, including Fürstenball, licensing and main premium champion, German champion and elite sire. His dam produced two other advanced (S) level dressage horses, Scarlatti (by San Amour) and Freestyler (by Fürst Heinrich). Fürst Romancier’s half sister Raguel (by Rosario) produced the licensed stallion Master Piece (by Morricone I). His dam’s sire Romancier, successful up to Prix St. Georges, comes from the Olympian lineage of Dodona, from which descend Rembrandt/Nicole Uphoff/GER, Ahlerich/Dr. Reiner Klimke/GER, Amon and Rubinstein. Fürst Romancier represents the very successful Oldenburg Edoste line, from which also descend German Champion and European Championship participant Exupéry, Reserve German Champion Landjuwel Gold, Olympic Grand Prix horse Petit Prince/Ellen Bontje/NED, Grand Prix horse Avignon and the international show jumping winners Questa Vittoria/Thomas Kleis and Quintera/Leon Thijssen/NED. From the very successful Oldenburg Edoste line
