Biography

This exceptionally charming son of Global Player—World Champion and Vice World Champion of young dressage horses—combines elite performance genetics with proven dam-line excellence. On the maternal side, he traces back to the renowned Oldenburg foundation mare Puppenfee (St.Pr./El.St.), celebrated as a guarantor of success and also the producer of our highly influential sire San Amour I. At his 35-day performance test in Denmark, Global Amour impressed across all key criteria, earning scores of 8.5 for nearly every characteristic. He secured third place overall with an outstanding total of 846.0 points—highlighting his rideability, movement quality, and overall dressage potential. Global Amour represents the second generation of offspring by Global Player, who continues his successful international career under Marie Sohler. In 2024, the pair achieved remarkable success at the Junior European Championships in Opglabbeek (BEL), winning team gold as well as individual gold and silver medals. Global Player’s own credentials include titles as Oldenburg and Danish Champion Stallion, third place in his stallion performance test, Vice German and Regional Champion, and fourth at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. From his first crops, Global Player has already produced multiple licensed and premium stallions, including the German and Hanoverian Champion Global Hope and our stallion Globall. His daughter Glamorous Gigi captured gold at the Baden-Württemberg Championships and bronze at the DSP Championships, further underlining the sire line’s consistent production of top-level sport horses. The dam, St.Pr./El.St. Amelie, was named Reserve Champion Mare at the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in Rastede in 2014, affirming the strength and quality of this dam line. The granddam is the full sister of San Amour I, reinforcing this pedigree’s concentration of elite Oldenburg and international dressage bloodlines.
