Biography

We are pleased to again in 2024 be able to offer Hesselhøj Donkey Boy in our stallion program. Already at the award in 2015, the stallion was described as a flagship for Danish horse breeding, as Donkey Boy is bred on the very best Danish dressage blood. Donkey Boy was spotted by everyone as favourite at the award ceremony and he was named prize stallion. This state-of-the-art Danish stallion possesses everything: beauty, format and a particularly smooth movement in all gaits and was therefore also named as a wing stallion in the 4-year team in 2016. He superiorly won his material test with a gait grade of 900 points and collected 889.5 points. In the autumn of 2016, he also won the Danish Equestrian Federation's 4-year championship in dressage with 9.6 points. His impressive winning streak continued in 2017, when he won his first start in LA with 82.58%. At the DRF dressage championship for 5-year-olds, he won the qualification with 9.72 points and the final with 9.96 points, where he got four 10s. He received the following grades: trot 9.8 – step 10 – gallop 10 – horsemanship 10 and capacity 10! At UVM in Ermelo he won bronze in 2017 and in 2018 he won silver in Ermelo, where he was rewarded with 9,64 points and a 2nd place In 2018, Donkey Boy won both the qualification and the DRF championship for 6-year-old horses with the grades : Trot 9.5 – step 10.0 – gallop 9.5 – ridability 8.8 – capacity 9.5. In 2022, the stallion debuted in the Grand Prix with a whopping 75.3% In 2023, Donkey Boy was named " Stallion of the Year " in Danish Warmblood . The father ERA Dancing Hit was a wing stallion with charm, format and movement. Unfortunately, we lost the ERA Dancing Hit far too early in breeding, but in his short breeding period he has become a recognized name throughout Europe. The mother Søbakkehus Kamilja, A-horse in dressage, is the fifth elite mare in a straight line on this fantastic mare strain. We all remember our grandfather Milan, who was also a wing stallion, as a horse of international class. Out of the same mare strain you will find the winner of DV's Young Horse Championship 2014 Hot Shot, Fitou L – Danish champion 2014 under Lone Bang Larsen, Stigma – gold medal and mare of the year 2013, Shen Chan – Grand Prix horse under Anne Charlotte Hove, stallion Gagarin, Drumfire under Lis Hartel and Lucky Star – Olympic participant 2008. This amazing mare strain originally comes from a Hanoverian mare named Amuratha, born in 1926 and later exported to Sweden, where she became a pedigree mare in the Swedish "mare tribe 36". This amazing mare strain has bred over 11 breeding approved stallions and several Olympic participants. Due to the Swedish ancestry of this mare tribe, there is Gaspari blood in Donkey Boy, as well as the well-known thoroughbred stallion Drumhead XX in Denmark.The offspring after
