Biography

Hesselhøj Donkey Boy is one of the most influential Danish dressage stallions of his generation, combining exceptional movement, rideability and proven championship success. Bred in Denmark by Hans Jørgen Hoeck, the stallion is by Era Dancing Hit out of the elite mare Søbakkehus Kamilja, a daughter of Milan. His pedigree represents some of the strongest dressage bloodlines in Danish breeding, with multiple Grand Prix horses appearing in the first generations. Donkey Boy gained international recognition as a young horse thanks to his extraordinary gaits and rideability. He dominated Danish young horse championships and later impressed on the international stage, finishing 2nd at the FEI World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. His success in sport, combined with his powerful pedigree and modern type, has made him a highly sought-after breeding stallion producing promising dressage offspring across Europe.
