Biography

Choco is a superbly well gaited silver black Rocky Mountain Horse. Conceived in the USA and born in the UK, he is the epitome of this breed, the Golden Retrievers of the horse world. They are famed for their smooth four beat gait, the sweetest temperament and sound physique. In short, they have, "all the drive and athleticism without the drama". Choco's sire si the legendary Choco Dock, after which he is so appropriately named, was a long lived and fertile stallion, proving the soundness and longevity of the breed. He sired no less than 487 pure bred Rocky Mountains, as well as countless others, over a 30 year period. Our own son is one of his last 20 foals, and the only stallion by him currently standing at stud anywhere in Europe. Choco Dock's fame as the most popular Rocky Mountain Horse of all time was due in no small part to his huge successes in the US show ring, winning the RMHA International Show Grand Champion Title under saddle no less than three times, as well as countless other accolades both in his own name and through that of his offspring.
