Biography

"Nuri" was bred by me, by Jane Morgan Sorensen's 15.3 hh TU Champion, who is pure old Polish Arab breeding, sire of several good progeny here and in Denmark. He is out of Aleys Simmering Sapphire, 15.1 cremello mare. He was well socialised as a foal and young colt, growing up in company, and in batchelor herds until his third year. Lightly backed during 2023 and sent for harness training at the end of 2023. Now back home, he will continue his ridden education and I hope to bring him out under saddle during 2024. We will try him in different disciplines to see what he has an affinity for and where his ability lies. Nuri has a kind temperament, and wants to please. He enjoys his work and is settling in to his new yard and regime well. His colour genetics are: AA/Ee/nd1/nd2/CR/n Statistically, he will pass on his cream gene in 50% of conceptions He can either pass on his dominant or recessive Extension (E or e) He will always pass Agouti, which taken in conjunction with Extension means that he can sire Bay or chestnut (or buckskin or palomino, if he passes his cream), but never black-based foals All other colour possibilities will depend on what the mare contributes
