Biography

The strong bloodline of Sir Donnerhall, the father of Lantanas, unites two German top progenitors, namely Sandro Hit and Donnerhall. The dam of Lantanas, the ster preferent performance mare Lantana V (s.Hemmingway) gave 7 stallion foals and 10 fillies, of which 7 became at least a star. Her most successful daughter is Vitana V. (s.Donnerhall), who has been released internationally in the Grand Prix by Stephanie Peters and Morgan Barbancon Mestre. In turn, Vitana V. is the dam of the KWPN recognized international Grand Prix stallion Cennin (by Vivaldi) with Madeleine Witte-Vrees. From the offspring of grandmother Dartha B ster pref (s.Zuidhorn) Marway V ster sport- (dres) (s.Hemmingway) and Ulita V. (s.Olivi) came in the Z2 dressage class. The keur preferente great-grandmother Urcha is also the great-grandmother of the successful international Grand Prix show jumpers Chaplin (by Verdi) with Martin Fuchs (Zwi.) And Picolien Zeldenrust (by Indoctro) with Doda de Miranda (Bra.) KWPN Research Report: Lantanas is an honest, reliable stallion with a great deal of drive forwards and a good attitude. The stallion has a lot of commitment and willingness to work. The walk is pure, active and has good scope and flexibility. In the trot the stallion has an active leg technique, a good to very good space and a hind leg that can be worked well. The canter is powerful, uphill, well-balanced and has good scope, Lantanas moves with great flexibility and good posture and balance. Lantanas has a lot of talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling. KWPN Breeding / recommendation advice: Lantanas is a low-related stallion in the population and can add size and bone technology to dressage horse breeding. Stable behavior: Honest reliable stallion, easy going and quiet in the stable.
