Biography

The modern Oldenburg stallion Leclerc represents one of the most exceptional maternal lines in modern dressage breeding. Born in 2020, the striking black stallion is by Lord Europe, a son of Lord Leatherdale, and out of the elite mare Weihronce by For Romance I. This pedigree combines the influential blood of Lord Loxley, Fürst Romancier, and Donnerhall, creating a powerful blend of rideability, expression and performance genetics. Leclerc descends from the extraordinary Oldenburg mare family Weissena, one of the most successful dressage dynasties in the world. His granddam is the legendary Weihegold, Olympic, World and European champion and one of the most decorated dressage mares in history. This elite family has produced numerous Grand Prix horses and licensed stallions including Total Hope OLD and Viva Gold OLD, positioning Leclerc as an exciting young stallion for modern dressage breeding.

Notable Progeny
