Biography

MORRICONE III finished 3rd in the Premium ring at the 2018 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing to Global Player and Weihgand. Awarded 1c-Premium stallion, selling for €180,000 Oldenburger price highlight to CELLE State Stud. Eurodressage: “He impressed on the lunge with much expression, cadence, rhythm and power from behind, with a lovely face and neck” . MORRICONE III impresses with power, balance, active hind legs, extremely well equipped with an outstanding level of movement. Gifted with elegance, type and charisma. MORRICONE III was campaigned by Olympian Simone Pearce in 2024. MORRICONE III 1st PSG ‘s & 1st Advanced Medium in 2024 at age 8 with Simone Pearce in Germany, whilst training the Grand Prix movements. He showed much potential for the piaffe and passage at only 7 years old. Simone commenting “Morricone I & III are more similar in terms of type and character. With Morricone I & III being more similar to Millennium from the feeling & look with a lot of power and high motivation to work.” At the Bundeschampionate Qualifier in 2021 Elmlohe, Germany, MORRICONE III came 5th under Birte Senftleben of Celle State Stud. Furthermore he also scored 8.20 in his 50 day test. From a successful family like no other MORRICONE III is the full brother to MORRICONE I the celebrated Oldenburg Champion Stallion of the Year 2021 and successful in Grand Prix sport with Lena Walderman & U25 Moritz Treffinger. His sire MILLENNIUM was second reserve Champion at the 2010 Trakehner main licensing and he became Trakehner Vice Champion in Hanover. His dam the Elite mare HARTIMA. Her sire RUBIN ROYAL OLD, Main Premium Winner in Oldenburg and multiple international Grand Prix winner under Hendrik Lochthowe. His progeny include RUBIN AL ASAD, ROSALIE B, RUBIN AL ASAD MORRICONE III’s grandsire DE NIRO was Reserve Champion of the 1996 Stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf scoring 9s in all three gaits and was awarded the highest scores for rideability 9.67. In fourth generation the Grand Prix winner RUBINSTEIN manifests the pedigree as founder of the modern R-line. Origin of success is the dam line of HAINBUCHE, which also produced DONNERHALL’s line, dam sire MARKUS, WELTGEIST, SAN REMO as well as numerous INTERNATIONAL GRAND PRIX Horses.
