Biography
Born in 2018, Newmarket VM is an exciting Zangersheide-registered jumping stallion by the influential sire Chacoon Blue, a son of the legendary Chacco-Blue, whose offspring dominate modern showjumping breeding. On the dam side, Newmarket VM is out of Nouvelle Star Z, a daughter of the Olympic-influential stallion Numero Uno, with further power coming from Carthago Z in the third generation. This combination of Chacco-Blue, Numero Uno and Carthago creates a pedigree packed with proven international jumping genetics. His damline traces back to the renowned Nomana family, one of the most successful Dutch mare lines and also the family of legendary sire Darco. This family has produced numerous international 1.60 m horses including It’s the Business, Opium 2, and Van Schijndel’s Now or Never, as well as Team Nijhof’s influential stallion Zambesi TN. Newmarket VM impressed at the KWPN Stallion Show and later confirmed his talent during the KWPN Performance Test, scoring 83.5 points with multiple 8.5 scores for canter, reflexes, technique and jumping talent.

As a relatively young breeding stallion, Newmarket VM’s first foals have only recently begun appearing, but breeders report promising youngstock with modern jumping type.
