Biography

O’Frederic is an exceptional young KWPN approved stallion bred from five consecutive generations of Grand Prix dressage performance. Combining elite German bloodlines with modern rideability and expression, he represents the very best of international dressage breeding. As the second KWPN-approved son of For Romance, O’Frederic descends from one of Europe’s most influential sires. For Romance, the two-time Oldenburg Champion Stallion, competed successfully at international Grand Prix level under Therese Nilshagen. He has produced numerous licensed sons across Germany, and his offspring are now firmly established at the highest levels of international dressage sport. O’Frederic’s dam, the Oldenburg mare Riana, is a powerhouse of German dressage genetics. She immediately demonstrated her breeding value by producing an approved stallion with her first foal. Her sire, Fidertanz, competed at Grand Prix level and was crowned Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2021 — a distinction that underlines his influence in modern sport horse breeding. The granddam Ricola, a daughter of De Niro, further strengthens this prestigious pedigree. Ricola produced the international Grand Prix horse Duke Of Swing in combination with Blue Hors Don Romantic, successfully competed by Camille Judet Cheret. She is also the granddam of the Prix St. Georges horse Zitat, reinforcing the consistent performance output of this dam line. The lineage continues through Ratina, incorporating the proven blood of Welt Hit II and Rubinstein I, both cornerstone sires in international dressage breeding.

Notable Progeny

First foals born 2024, and many with a lot of technique in movement, long lined dressage models with pretty faces. KWPN Breeding/adaptation advice: O’Frederic can contribute to blood spread, improve the walk and rideability.
