Biography
Olympic is a 2022-born chestnut Zangersheide stallion standing 169 cm, bred by Roos Stables. At his licensing in Verden, he was awarded premium stallion status, with the licensing committee praising his self-confident demeanor, powerful footing, energetic construction, and consistent jumping ability. Sired by international Grand Prix winner Ogano Sitte, who has produced over 100 offspring competing internationally and numerous licensed stallions including star sire Aganix du Seigneur, Olympic inherits exceptional jumping genetics. His dam Andrea was Gerd Jan Bruggink's former top horse, excelling as a particularly fast pair in show jumping up to 1.60m. The dam line is exceptionally strong, with grandmother Laika v. Voltaire producing not only Andrea and her full brother Vampire (also successful to 1.60m with Bruggink), but also being grandmother to three other international sport horses. Great-grandmother Elinda has produced 15 international sport horses through her descendants. Olympic demonstrates impressive basic gaits with a regulated walk, energetic hindquarter with very good knee action in trot, and an uphill, energetic, balanced canter. His body structure is characterized by particular correctness, typical uphill format, and harmonious proportions. Licensed for Hannover, Oldenburg International, Holstein, and other associations on request, Olympic stands at Hengststation Völz with a cover charge of €300 plus VAT and pregnancy fee of €500 plus VAT.
