Biography

Onatopp is an exceptional young stallion who combines nobility, elasticity, powerful movement, and remarkable rideability. At the Hanoverian licensing, he immediately attracted attention and was awarded Premium Stallion status. Hanoverian licensing commissioner Heike Kemmer described him as: "A stallion seemingly equipped with everything: nobility, expression, scope, and generous possibilities in all three basic gaits, combined with suspension, elasticity, and outstanding self-confidence that makes him truly special." His pedigree offers an equally impressive genetic foundation. Onatopp descends from the renowned Hanoverian Longola mare family, one of Germany’s most successful sport horse lineages, which also produced Olympic Champion Rusty, ridden by Ulla Salzgeber. The sire Opoque began his career as a Premium Stallion at both the KWPN and Danish Stallion Licensing. He completed his Dutch performance test as reserve champion with a total score of 85.5 points and later achieved an overall score of 8.34 at the Vechta short performance test. In 2023, under Danish rider Mette Sejbjerg Jensen, Opoque won the Four-Year-Old Championship at the FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses, receiving scores of 9.0 and higher in all judging criteria. He also won the Danish Championship qualifier in Randbøl with a score of 9.1. His first crop has already produced multiple licensed and premium-approved sons. The dam, Hann.Pr.St. Bona Dea, is a half-sister to the successful Small Tour horse Farjana (by Fantastic). Bona Dea completed her mare performance test with a dressage-focused final score of 8.38, earned top placings in riding horse and dressage horse competitions with scores up to 8.3, and received the prestigious 1a prize at the Bargstedt mare show. She is also the dam of the licensed stallion Elementum (by Escamillo), a successful winner in medium-level dressage classes (M**) as a seven-year-old. Onatopp descends from the influential Hanoverian Longola mare family, one of the most accomplished sport horse families in Europe. This lineage has produced: - Olympic, World, and European Champion Rusty with Ulla Salzgeber - International 1.60 m jumpers Conquest of Paradiso and Schwerin - More than 30 licensed stallions, including Admirandus, Balougran, Rasputin, Romant, Siciliano, Sullivan, and many others This proven dam line consistently produces elite dressage and jumping horses, making Onatopp genetically one of the most exciting young stallions of his generation.
