Biography

Born in 2015, Poker de Mariposa TN is a Belgian Warmblood stallion with one of the most coveted showjumping pedigrees in modern breeding. He is sired by the influential Nabab de Rêve and out of Ilena de Mariposa, a 1.55 m performer and daughter of the Olympic-winning mare Flora de Mariposa. This exceptional damline has consistently produced elite jumpers, making Poker de Mariposa TN a direct descendant of one of the most successful families in international sport. As a young stallion he immediately impressed judges and riders, finishing reserve champion at the BWP stallion approval and sharing first place in the PAVO stallion competition. In sport he has developed into a competitive international jumper with numerous clear rounds and placements at 1.40–1.45 m level, showing careful technique, reflexes and scope. His early offspring already display the same athleticism and attitude that define the famous Mariposa line.
