Proud James, who was awarded a premium at his licensing in Denmark, also completed his stallion performance test in the Netherlands with a sensational score of 91 points (out of a possible 100 points) and well ahead of the competition. At the 2024 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, he convincingly won the 4-year-old class, both in the qualification with 85.4% and in the final with 86.2%. Proud James is from the first crop of the stallion Jameson RS2, who placed eighth in the dressage horse world championship final as a five-year-old and was again successful in the seven-year-old class in 2021 under Marieke van der Putten/NED.
