Biography
Quel Homme de Hus is one of the most consistent and successful showjumping stallions of his generation, combining exceptional scope, carefulness and a remarkable competitive mindset. Born in 2006, the bay Holsteiner stallion is by the legendary French sire Quidam de Revel and out of the mare P-Hawaii by Candillo. This pedigree blends two powerful jumping lineages: the proven French performance blood of Quidam de Revel and the strength of the Holsteiner damline 4847, known for producing numerous international sport horses. Under Belgian rider Jérôme Guéry, Quel Homme de Hus rose to the very top of international sport, competing successfully in the world’s most prestigious championships and Grand Prix competitions. The pair quickly developed into a formidable partnership, achieving major results including team gold at the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam, team bronze at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, and individual silver at the 2022 World Championships in Herning. They also won the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona and achieved top placings at iconic venues such as Aachen and Geneva, confirming Quel Homme de Hus as one of the most reliable 5* horses on the international circuit
