Biography

Renzo is a premium young KWPN stallion by Kjento, the World Champion as a six- and seven-year-old and KWPN Horse of the Year. Bred for modern sport and elite dressage performance, Renzo combines proven championship genetics with exceptional conformation, athleticism, and rideability—making him an outstanding breeding prospect for serious dressage breeders. Renzo claimed first place in the 2026 KWPN Stallion Competition Finals in the L-level division during the Anemone Horse Trucks Hengstencompetitie at ‘s Hertogenbosch. This prestigious stallion competition included three qualifiers (Kronenberg, Ijsselmuiden and Groningen) followed by the final presentation in Den Bosch. His scores were exceptionally consistent: • 92.4 (Kronenberg) • 90 (Ijsselmuiden) • 93 (Groningen) — giving him a total of 275.4 points and the win over a competitive field of L-level stallions. He also finished 6th at the 2025 PAVO Cup Finals for 4-year-olds, competing in a strong national young horse field. As a direct son of Kjento, Renzo inherits the work ethic, elasticity, and expression that have positioned his sire among the most influential dressage stallions in the world. Kjento’s dominance in young horse championships has translated into consistent transmission of talent, movement quality, and trainability. Renzo’s dam, Aronia, brings just under 50% blood, adding refinement and athletic sharpness to the pedigree. She is a proven producer of international-level sport horses, including: - Galileo (CCI3*) - Indian Summer (International Grand Prix dressage, by Apache) - Journalist (PSG level, by Charmeur) Aronia is by Rousseau, one of the most successful breeding stallions of his generation. Rousseau notably produced three consecutive KWPN Stallion Licensing champions: - Wamberto (2006) - Zack (2007) - Ampere (2008) KWPN Conformation Report: “Renzo is a stunning stallion with a lot of charisma. He has good proportions and strong connections in his body. He has an expressive head, the neck is well shaped, long and muscular. The shoulder is long, the withers are well developed and continue well into the back. The back and loins are well muscled. The croup has a good length, position and muscles. The foreleg is correctly positioned, the hind leg is slightly bent. The feet are well developed and of good quality."

Notable Progeny

First breeding season 2025. KWPN Breeding/adaptation advice: “Renzo can improve the exterior and leg technique and add breed to dressage horse breeding.”
