Biography

Born in 2019, Telstar JM TN is a modern Belgian Warmblood showjumping stallion by the exceptional sport stallion Ermitage Kalone (Catoki × Kannan) and out of Frauke by Muscaris d’Ariel. His pedigree blends some of the strongest jumping bloodlines in Europe, including Catoki, Diamant de Semilly and Carolus II. Even more impressive is his maternal line, which traces directly to the legendary mare Opaline des Pins, one of the most influential broodmares in showjumping history. The Opaline des Pins family has produced multiple 1.60 m horses and Olympic champions, including Jus de Pomme, who won individual and team gold at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Telstar JM TN himself impressed early during the KWPN performance test, earning 83.5 points with 8.5 scores for all jumping components, highlighting his exceptional reflexes, scope and technique. Competing in young horse classes, he has already demonstrated strong form internationally, including victories in international young horse competitions in Lier.

Notable Progeny

As a relatively young breeding stallion, Telstar JM TN’s first offspring are just emerging: First crop foals from European sport horse breeders Youngstock from Dutch and Belgian breeding programs Early foals noted for strong canter, scope and modern athletic type
