Biography

Tesino RS is a typey, noble dark bay dressage stallion with a striking silhouette and beautifully developed neck. His expressive presence and harmonious conformation make him an immediate standout. Under saddle, Tesino RS impresses with a supple, elastic movement through the body, a ground-covering walk, and a naturally uphill canter that reflects outstanding rideability and balance. At the 2024 Adelheidsdorf 50-Day Stallion Performance Test, Tesino RS confirmed—and even exceeded—the highest expectations by finishing among the top group of stallions. His competition career continued successfully in 2025, when he won several young horse dressage classes, was crowned Oldenburg Vice State Champion, and became a placed finalist at the German Bundeschampionat for four-year-old stallions. Tesino RS descends from a pedigree packed with world-class dressage legends. His sire Total Hope combines two of the most influential names in modern dressage breeding: - Totilas (ridden by Edward Gal) – the record-breaking dressage phenomenon - Weihegold (ridden by Isabell Werth) – multiple Olympic and World Championship medalist Total Hope himself has proven these genetics in sport, winning the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal Final and achieving multiple international Grand Prix victories with Isabel Freese (NOR). He also competed at the European Championships in Riesenbeck, the World Championships in Herning (DEN), and qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris (FRA). Tesino RS’s dam My Diva PS has already produced the licensed stallion Just in Time (by Jameson RS2). The maternal grandsire Morricone I, Oldenburg licensing champion in Vechta (2014), is one of the most influential modern dressage sires. A Grand Prix winner and Nürnberger Burg-Pokal finalist (2019), Morricone I has already produced more than 20 licensed sons. Tesino RS’s granddam Special Diva OLD was crowned German Bundeschampion of three-year-old mares and geldings in 2014 under Heiko Klausing. She is the half-sister of the licensed stallion Brilliant (Bretton Woods), the Redefin licensing champion of 2014. Special Diva OLD also produced the licensed stallions: - Monterey (by Morricone I – full brother to My Diva PS) - Le Spécial (by Lord Europe) - Total Diamond PS (by Totilas) Her sire Sir Donnerhall I is one of the world’s leading dressage sires, after earning numerous titles including Premium Stallion, Main Premium Winner, Performance Test Champion, Bundeschampion and World Championship Silver Medalist. In the fourth generation appears Diamond Hit, who in 2002 became Vice World Champion and Vice Bundeschampion of five-year-old dressage horses. One year earlier he had already secured Vice State Champion and Vice Bundeschampion titles among four-year-old stallions. Later he competed successfully at international Grand Prix level with Emma Hindle (GBR), placing at prestigious events such as Aachen, Wiesbaden and Stadl Paura (AUT). Diamond Hit is also renowned as the sire of numerous elite dressage horses and influential stallions. Tesino RS represents the renowned Hanoverian mare family 600 “Helferin” from Lanhausen, which has produced over 20 licensed stallions. Among them are influential representatives of Westphalian breeding such as Remus I, Remus II, Romulus I, Romulus II, Abendgold, Feuerstein, Flamenco and Pentagon, as well as the internationally successful show jumper Fharian ridden by Hans-Joachim Langemeyer.
