Biography
TIME OUT Elite Modern Bloodlines. Proven Power. Effortless Ability. From the first crop of Tiger van ’t Ruytershof, developed at the highest level by Harrie Smolders, Time Out represents a rare opportunity to access one of the most exciting emerging sire lines in modern sport horse breeding. At his 2025 licensing in Vechta, Time Out stood out with absolute dominance. In the free-jumping, he showed scope, technique and balance far beyond his years, clearing the biggest fences with complete ease and no visible effort. His pedigree reads like a blueprint for international success. A powerful concentration of Chacco-Blue, Cornet Obolensky, Diamant de Semilly, Quidam de Revel and Landgraf I, combining raw power, rideability and proven championship genetics. His sire, Tiger van ’t Ruytershof, is already making a serious impression. A son of Chacfly and grandson of the legendary Chacco-Blue, he is supported by one of the strongest dam lines in Europe. His dam Pearl van ’t Ruytershof is a full sister to the Belgian licensing champion Pegase van ’t Ruytershof and closely related to Olympic performer Emerald van ’t Ruytershof. On the dam side, performance is not a promise, it is a pattern. Dominator Z, under Christian Ahlmann, earned over €1.4 million at the very highest level, producing over 70 licensed sons and multiple 1.60m performers and champions. Zinedine, ridden by Ludger Beerbaum, adds further depth, producing Olympic horses, Global Champions League winners and Grand Prix performers, including Zineday with Philipp Weishaupt. The dam line continues to deliver, with multiple 1.50m to 1.60m performers and international competitors, including Cortina, Fast Lucca and Continue, alongside the licensed stallion Castanova H, successfully competed by André Thieme.
