Biography
Tokyo AS is a modern dressage stallion type and represents the ideal image of a contemporary riding horse. He impresses with three excellent basic gaits shown with energy, elasticity and a natural uphill tendency coming from a powerful hindquarter and strong back. His sire Toto Gold made a successful debut in both sport and breeding, competing at medium (M) level and already producing several licensed sons in his first crop. The dam La Paloma also proves the strength of this line, producing the Champion Mare of the Mecklenburg Elite Mare Show 2024, Lesperada (by Erdinger). Her sire Millennium is one of the most influential dressage sires of modern breeding. Successful at advanced (S) level himself, he has produced numerous international Grand Prix horses and more than 100 licensed sons. Millennium was named Trakehner Elite Stallion in 2017 and later received Elite Stallion titles at the DSP Stallion Days in Munich 2022 and the Oldenburg Stallion Days 2025. In the third generation stands Fidertanz, NRW licensing winner, Vice Bundeschampion and later successful up to Grand Prix level. He was named Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2021 and has produced many licensed sons and international dressage horses. The pedigree is further strengthened by Sandro Hit, one of the most influential dressage stallions of modern breeding. Tokyo AS represents the Hanoverian dam line 738/Nopilla, a family that has produced numerous licensed stallions and successful sport horses. This proven line has also produced top international performers such as the 1974 show jumping world champion Simona 3 with Hartwig Steenken, the Olympic dressage horse Woyceck with Harry Boldt and the international dressage horse Rialto Star 2 ridden by Severo Jurado Lopez.
