Biography

Toman (Grand (SU) x Queen’s Topaz) was bred by Al Waha Stud. His sire Grand (SU) (Mukomol x Nevesta) was bred at Tersk Stud with a race record of 20 starts, 14 firsts, 1 second and 3 third placings. A Classic winner in hand being Dutch National Champion and Top Ten in the World Championships in Paris. Also sire of European endurance horses. Toman’s grand-dam, Nevesta (Aswan x Nagrada II) is a legend being the dam of seven winners including the Derby winners Vatican and Naum and was Dutch and British National Champion Mare. Toman’s dam, Queen’s Topaz (Midnight Gold x Dancing Queen) was another treasure. Topaz produced three British National Champion sons – BNC Colt Tayseer, BNC Ridden Gelding Tawoos and BNC Stallion Toman.
