Biography

Van Vivaldi is a KWPN-bred dressage stallion born in 2010 by the influential sire Vivaldi out of an Olivi mare. Bred from two powerful Grand Prix dressage lines, he represents the highly sought-after “V-line” known for exceptional movement, rideability and modern type. First reserve Sieger at the 2012 Münster-Handorf licensing, Van Vivaldi later won the Swedish stallion performance test for dressage and went on to compete successfully up to Intermediaire level, achieving international CDI3* wins and scores above 75%. As a breeding stallion he has produced numerous talented dressage horses, including several approved sons and offspring competing from young horse classes through to Grand Prix level.

Notable Progeny

Van Vivaldi`s offspring are very appealing with naturally easy gaits. Van Vivaldi conformation and technique can be used to cover many different types of mares to improve characteristics in both type and movement in their offspring. In addition, he passes on to his offspring 3 excellent gaits, the power to engage and lift their bodies in balance, self-carriage and charisma. During 2016 two of his offspring were presented at the elite foal auction. Van Vivaldi in January 2017 had his third approved son. The three-year-old stallion was approved in Munich, where he was later sold at the proceeding auction. During 2017 he received further approved sons, as a result of their appealing type and excellent gaits. The results from both the 3-year performance tests and the foal inspections in 2017 gave a clear message, that Van Vivaldi conformation and gaits made him a sire of the highest rank. At Oldenburg’s championship for 3-year-old riding horses in Rastede July 2018, a Van Vivaldi offspring won. During the Bundeschampionat 2018, Venecia OLD (Van Vivaldi – Florencio I) became the Reserve Bundeschampion for 3-year-old mares and geldings. As of today Van Vivaldi has already 9 approved sons, and numerous offspring competing in the Grand Prix and Inter 1 level. Venecia OLD – Reserve Bundeschampion for 3-year-old mares and geldings. Multiple approved sons – at least 9 licensed stallions across European studbooks. Oldenburg 3-Year-Old Champion (Rastede) – sired by Van Vivaldi. Numerous offspring competing successfully at Inter I and Grand Prix level. Elite foal auction selections in Europe.
