Biography

Venedig is a modern Hanoverian dressage stallion by Vivaldos out of a De Niro mare, representing one of the most successful combinations of contemporary dressage bloodlines. Standing at Hof Sosath, he attracted major attention at the 2025 Hanoverian dressage stallion licensing where he was awarded Premium Stallion, impressing the judges with his imposing type, three excellent basic gaits and exceptional character. His pedigree brings together multiple generations of elite dressage genetics. The dam line has produced successful advanced-level dressage horses and licensed stallions, while the influential Thoroughbred Lauries Crusador xx appears in the third generation, adding refinement and proven performance to the pedigree. This combination of modern mechanics, rideability and a proven sport family makes Venedig a highly promising young sire for future dressage breeding.
