Biography

Vespasiano is one of the most exciting young dressage stallions emerging from modern German sport horse breeding. Born in 2022, the liver chestnut stallion combines elite dressage genetics, expressive movement and outstanding rideability, making him a highly sought-after prospect for breeders aiming to produce future Grand Prix horses. Standing at Damil Dressage in Germany, Vespasiano is by the influential sire Viva Gold OLD, a son of the legendary dressage producer Vivaldi. Viva Gold has rapidly established himself as one of Europe’s most modern and athletic dressage sires, producing licensed sons, premium stallions and elite auction horses. Vespasiano’s dam, Feine Deern, is by Fidertanz out of a distinguished Hanoverian dam line tracing through Londonderry and Brentano II. This maternal family has consistently produced licensed stallions, premium mares and successful international dressage horses. Vespasiano is admired for his elastic movement, naturally uphill canter, expressive foreleg technique and exceptional ability to collect despite his young age. Equally important is his temperament: attentive, willing and easy to ride, qualities increasingly valued in modern dressage breeding. At his first public sport test in Vechta in 2026, Vespasiano impressed judges with marks up to 8.8, finishing fourth and confirming his reputation as one of the standout young stallions of his generation.
