Biography
Vuelta is a genuine winner making his debut at Hengststation Beckmann. In 2024, he dominated the Westphalian main stallion licensing, leaving the show ring as the celebrated champion stallion. “This stallion is truly something special, with remarkable breed type. In walk, trot, and canter, he earned the highest marks. His canter shows a fantastic hind leg with exceptional undertracking and a natural uphill balance. In trot, we see perfect rhythm, freedom of shoulder, impressive knee action, and a strong, carrying hind leg. Everything a jury hopes for in a champion comes together in this stallion!” This expert evaluation reflects the outstanding and complete quality that Vuelta embodies. Vuelta’s sire, Vitalis, is one of the most influential stallions in modern dressage breeding. Vitalis was Reserve Champion of the NRW licensing in 2009 and competed successfully at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden in 2012 and 2013. In 2016, he was named “Stallion of the Year” at the Young Horse World Championships in Ermelo (NED) and won the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal Final in Frankfurt. To date, he has sired over 104 licensed and recognized sons in Germany, including champion stallions, premium stallions, and Bundeschampions. Vuelta’s dam, Fleur, produced Vuelta as her first foal, immediately giving birth to a champion stallion. Fleur’s sire, Fürst Jazz, is known for siring licensed and awarded sons, while his daughters have been highly decorated in show competitions. Fürst Jazz comes from one of the strongest Dutch mare lines, line 100, which has produced renowned stallions and Grand Prix-level horses such as Van Gogh, Der Senaat, Iceberg ST, Kanjer, Zirkit, Rodny, Wannaroo O, Indentiek BH, Wilton, Le Premier Begijnhoeve, and Asgard’s Ibiza. Vuelta’s granddam, Shakira (by Stedinger), represents the Hanoverian mare line 738 / Nopilla, which has produced 13 licensed stallions, including Elliot (by Ex Libris), Florenz Fluvius (by Flugsang, Ldb.), Bretone (by Brentano II), and Tokyo AS (by Toto Gold).
