Biography

Zonik Plus (born 5 May 2016) is a black Rheinland stallion competing successfully at international Grand Prix dressage level. Bred for elite sport and produced with long-term development in mind, he represents a powerful fusion of Dutch performance blood and German refinement. He is by Glock’s Zonik N.O.P., the Grand Prix star ridden by Edward Gal, and a son of the influential Blue Hors Zack. His dam, Heideblume, is by the Trakehner foundation sire Hohenstein I, known for rideability, elasticity and classical type. Ridden and developed exclusively by Belgian international Justin Verboomen, Zonik Plus has progressed methodically through the levels to become one of the highest-scoring Grand Prix dressage horses on the European circuit.
